Returns and refunds

Request a return within 30 days of delivery by emailing support@thewashedit.com. Include your order number, the item, and the reason for the return.

Return eligibility

Change-of-mind returns must be unused, unopened, in their original packaging, and include all original accessories and labels. Proof of purchase is required. Opened or used chemicals and items damaged through misuse, improper storage, modification, or incorrect application are not eligible for a change-of-mind return. This does not exclude a valid defect or incorrect-item claim.

Authorization, labels, and fees

Contact us before sending any item back. For an approved eligible return, we provide the authorized return label and destination. We do not charge a return-label fee or a restocking fee. Use the supplied label and instructions; do not send items to our business or billing address or purchase your own return postage without contacting us.

Damaged, defective, or incorrect items

Inspect your delivery promptly. Report a damaged, defective, or incorrect item within 7 days of delivery where possible, with photos of the item, packaging, and shipping label. Keep the packaging until the claim is resolved. We will review the issue with the supplier and communicate the appropriate replacement or refund. Contact us about defects even if an item has been opened or used.

Refunds

Returns are reviewed after receipt. We will notify you of approval or denial and explain any denial. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to post the credit. Original delivery charges are not refunded for change-of-mind returns; verified shipping errors and defects are reviewed separately. If you have not received an approved refund within 15 business days, contact us.

Cancellations and exchanges

Email us as soon as possible to request a cancellation. Orders already processing or shipped may not be cancellable. For a different product or variant, request an eligible return and place a new order separately.

This policy applies to purchases from The Wash Edit and does not limit your rights under applicable consumer law.
